In honor of Woodstock's 50th anniversary we are celebrating with tie-dye, music, and far-out fun!
Your contributions go directly to supporting ITA teams. Every donation we receive, no matter the amount, helps us reach another person in need of support and kindness during a likely difficult time in their lives. Because of you and countless others, another child learns to read more confidently, a hospital patient is comforted before surgery, and an assisted living resident gains a new and often much needed friend. Thank you, not only from ITA, but from all those whose lives are affected by the unconditional love of a therapy animal.
We hope to see you there and appreciate your support for this amazing cause!
Intermountain Therapy Animals (ITA) was founded in SLC in 1993 and is a non-profit organization whose mission is enhancing quality of life through the human-animal bond. We provide animal-assisted interactions and therapies to the communities in Utah, Idaho, and Montana and we have affiliate organizations across the US. ITA alone has over 300 therapy teams who visit over 100 facilities spending time with individuals who are in need and going through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives.
ITA also launched Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.®) in 1999 which is a literacy program where struggling children read to therapy animals in a positive, non-judgmental environment. Today, it is in every state and 25 other countries.
